My cats really enjoy eating their crunchy food out of this sturdy bowl. It has helped with neck fatigue as well. Highly recommend.Don't let the picture fool you. We have 4 of these bowls, 2 of which were purchased in April 2022. I first purchased 2 because my first cat is obnoxious when she wants food. It is much more difficult for her to knock the bowl off the pedestal and push it down the hall! So I don't know which bowl broke. An older 1 or a newer 1 but it happened when my cat knocked it off the kitchen island. I presume it was an older bowl because this is not the first time a bowl has been dropped. Regardless, these bowls have a lifetime guarantee. I just emailed the company as instructed and they sent me a new bowl and stand! I sent the email out on 6/12/22 and the new bowl came in on 6/16/22. Awesome service!Make sure you hold onto the slip of paper that comes with the bowl that has the company email on it...just in case!Disappointed because after less than 2 months of using this bowl, the magnet fell out of the one PINK bowl. It says not to place them in dishwashers which I didn't because I don't even own a dishwasher so not sure what happened. I run them under the faucet but just the inside. I wipe the outside with a paper towel and make sure they are dry on the bottom before putting the bowl back in the stand. I have 3 more bowls, PINK which I purchased with this one, and two BLUE which I purchased more recently. I hope it doesn't happen to the rest of them, especially after the warranty of 30 days. Other than that, I really liked everything else about the bowls and so do my 2 cats. Was hoping to purchase another set for my son's cat, but unsure at this point.Purchased this bowl because my cat developed what appeared to be cat acne/bumps from eating out of plastic bowls. I researched and the bumps are a result from eating from plastic bowls. I love how the bowl tilts to help my cat eat food without putting his chin close to the bowl. It is sturdy easy to clean and the base keeps the bowl in place. No more bumps on my cats chin/acne since I have replaced his bowls with this one.My cat and I love this. The stand raises the food up closer to him. The magnet in the bottom of the stand corresponds with the magnet under the bottom of the dish. You can set the dish at any angle and it stays there. Both the stand and the dish are easy to clean. This is a good buy.Before I changed over to an automated water fountain, i used this water bowl. It is a great water bowl for cats! Nearly zero issues with bowls getting knocked over due to the magnet to keep it in place. I say "nearly" because on the bluest of moons, if my cat was feeling extra saucy and was constantly bumping the bowl, the bowl would still sit in the square stand, it would just start to rotate. So if the water was filled to the top, rotating it would cause the water to spill out. Other issues that some pet owners might have is the amount of water that it can hold, but i still am not going to knock off any stars because you should be changing water that sits on a daily basis! This bowl is big enough for 6 cats to have water as long as you change it regularly!!!Since I now have a water fountain for my bebes, these water bowls have now moved to outside for stray cats. Its been especially helpful with an elderly stray in our neighborhood who would always tip the water bowls we had out since he had trouble drinking water (we believe he has rotted teeth, but can't get close enough to confirm) and would often knock the bowls over.I like these bowls because they are easy for my cats to use. Every time I get another cat I buy one for them to use. This bowl makes him take his time much more and hopefully will result in less two-way dinners!That aside, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of these. They are well made and finished, the materials feel strong and sturdy and overall I was just generally very impressed with the form and function of these bowls.Either I glossed over or it's not actually stated in the description that they are held at their appropriate tilt by a magnet? which is a very nice wee touch. I know in the great scheme of things it's just a cats feeding bowl but credit where it's due, it is a well put together item and good value for money; ticks all the boxes for me!These have a habit of loose magnets and one of my purchases showed signs of someone gouging the magnet and glueing it back in resulting in lots of knife marks in the melamineThe point is they are sold as new and they should be newSecond hand should be sold as used at a discountAnyways the cats love em so who caresUmmmmm.... I think it works, only had one sickie incident since using it which is a plus! It's held in the tilted position by a magnet which is not at all powerful and on occasion the bowl slips a bit back down to being more level but as that's not my problem it's not really an issue. The base is nice and sturdy though!I don't know if it's heavy plastic or possibly ceramic (I think plastic) but I don't think you'll break it from accidentally dropping it, unless it is ceramic but it's a bit of a pig to wash the food off, sticks like s*#t to a blanket, better off soaking it in hot water for 20 mins.There wasn't a Star category for "reducing vomiting" or I'd have given that bit 5 stars, she's had a few "burping" incidents after wolfing down her food but where as before it would be followed by everything she just ate, now it just seems to be air! Time will tell I guess but I think it's made a difference.We use this for our cats wet food which often has meds sprinkled in and so this needs to be eaten.The tilt options provide a range of eating positions which helps her enormously.She’s an older large Maine coon and had started to lie down when she ate and to paw the food towards her like some Greek goddess,. dropping most in the process.Now she eats sitting upright and is clearly more comfortable.We have far less food displaced when she eats as a result.One comment: It would be helpful to be able to buy replacement bowls.At present it’s hard to get even another unit.Delighted with this cat bowl. I have received 3 of this type so far. All returned as bowl too small, fragile . This is perfect for my cat. I like the idea of the magnet which allows bowl to be tilted to suit cats . Also being melamine prevents absorption of bacteria. It's very sturdy. It would be good if they supplied replacement bowls would save washing the bowl before feeding. The bowl is on offer at the moment so have ordered another one. I highly reco6this cat bowl.
