We recently renovated a 1928 bungalow that had a small kitchen. We needed a sink that would fit into the space but do the work for a family of four. It fits nicely into a 36" cabinet width-wise. It's shape leaves plenty of space in the front and back to utilize the counter for our sponge and soap. And yet it holds a days worth of dishes. It's a sturdy sink that feels like it will last a while. Looks very good and we're pleased with the outcome.Recently remodeled our 1987 kitchen. We replaced everything in kitchen except kitchen cabinets. When we removed old cast iron sink and it must of weighed a near 300lbs. My choice for the Houzer sink was simply for its durability and its light weight. Since we purchased new granite slab for the kitchen we didn't want to put more added weight to our cabinets if we didn't have to. Just something to consider when making a purchase for your home. I love our new Houzer sink. We originally had an outdated, decent condition, almond color Kohler cast iron sink. Replaced with this white Houzer sink. I do agree with scratch problem but I also had same problem with cast iron. My resolution for it was after doing dishes spray with an all purpose BLEACH cleaner. Rub in with sponge or dish cloth and let sit Til it's next use. Works for me but I am thinking of purchasing a silicone mat for the bottom. Kitchen Faucet was also purchased on AMAZON!!! Delta Cassidy faucet...Thanks Amazon for helping make my home beautiful!! Also, our granite installer didn't have a white sink option and I didn't want the apron hang over part... Granite installer loved our choice of sink. He loved the color options and said he will now have this option for customers too.Received damaged, difficult to returnI bought this sink for my kitchen remodel. I was skeptical because of the 2 negative reviews and limited amount of reviews. I almost went with a more expensive cast iron sink, but in the end I went with Houzer after visiting their website. So far u love the sink. It's the deepest sink in its class and size. It is very light weight and the contractors couldn't be more please with the easy install. I spoke with others that have a white sink/cast iron sink and they said they still have to give it TLC. So I am doing just that. So far no stains or scratches. I use a soft sponge and dish soap to clean it. For a wine stain, I sprayed CLR and wiped it clean. No stain whatsoever. It's been a month and still looks brand new. The only regret is I bought it early for the remodel, come to find that it dropped in price by $100 and I missed the return deadline. Oh well. I still think I got a good sink for the price. This sink looks great and I love the shape and color. HOWEVER, I've had this since July and it's a stained mess. I clean it nightly, ALWAYS rinse liquids immediately, and keep a grate at the bottom to keep it from scratching. There are no clear instructions on what I can and can't clean it with without the risk of taking off the mint finish.I replaced a Kohler Porcelain/Steel double bowl sink with this one during a remodel because I wanted an "undermount" sink and the two individual sink bowls were always a bit small. This is a nice looking sink, and is plenty large and deep, but is probably a third of the weight of the Kohler. The steel & porcelain on the Kohler were much heavier and seemed a lot more durable. Instructions make the porcelain finish on this sink sound "fragile" where the Kohler could be cleaned with virtually anything and was extremely scratch resistant. This one seems to stain easily and is difficult to clean. Also much noisier.Originally purchased this sink 18 months ago and gave it a 5 star review. However, over time we have become extremely disappointed with how easy the white sink stains. We haven't used any abrasive cleaners on it even though they were allowed. Now anything and everything that gets poured into the sink ends up leaving a stain. Using spray bleach does eliminate the stain but we shouldn't have to use that as often as we do (2-3 times daily).Had white porcelain sinks all my life and decided I needed a change. So happy to make that decision. Delivered un-damaged luckily. Once installed I cleaned it and used Turtle car wax to coat it and came out beautiful.Desapointed about the color - was expecting white as the ironcast used to be but the houzer is “blue white”Enamel is fragile - already scratched after 2 days of use :-(The drain basket strainer was not included - I had to order one separatelyVery expensive -We’ve had our sink installed for about a week and it’s already incredibly scratched throughout the whole sink. I’ve done nothing more than wash pots and pans in it.Got the 1 one all kinked up / second one ship all out of shape?? Common , we expected high quality product when we renovate a kitchen , overall good looking but the craftsmanship is really poor and inadequate , can’t give more then a 1/2 star.scratch easily and a bottom protector is an absolute mustSi me gustó pero si se me hace que esta sobrevalorado, si es muy elevado su precioNo trae absolutamente ningún accesorio! Yo recomendaría que buscaran primero uno de menor precio!Es muy elegante pero se despostilla facilmente.
