I ordered this in a small version since I have a dog that is Italian Greyhound size. I thought her long snout would fit in between the bone shapes in the bowl, but since she has no teeth, it was hard for her to get the kibble out from between the bone shapes.2. Also, the rubber "feet" it comes with that insert on the bottom for a non-slip feeding, seem a bit too small and my dog pushes the bowl and the rubber feet come off. Otherwise, this is a great product for the right size dog.3. If you purchase this slow feeder, you might want to invest in a bottle brush or something similar to get the crevices totally clean (unless it can go in the dishwasher??).Our new rescue pup eats like there's never another meal coming... because for her, previously, that wasn't assured. Nowt hat she's here, we needed to slow her down. This adorable puzzle bowl is perfect for her. She's only 20lb and this model is just the right size. It slowed her down, but she's also content at dinnertime. Easy to rinse out and clean with a scrub brush. (Not sure if it's dishwasher safe.)This dish definitely slows down my puppy's eating, but I don't like that he eats at the bowl. I have also heard that plastic dishes can sometimes cause skin problems on pets. But I went and bought another one to have at my second home anyhow.Easy to clean, the design works to slow down your canine vacuum. It didn't have anti- slide pads on the bottom of the dish so ours chased it all over the kitchen.This did the job for my puppy who would inhale her food. Make sure you attach the pieces at the bottom so the bowl doesn’t slide around. I almost threw them out as I didn’t see them.Haven’t had to clean it yet, and I bought a brush to do so, there are a lot of grooves in the bowl so not as easy to clean as expected. However, it work wonders to keep my dog from eating so fast and vomiting her food right after! Great investment!Got this for my pit bull she’s a puppy and she would just gobble all her food up and end up throwing up from eating so fast and I would have to lay her food on the ground. But this bowl is great and really helped her learn how to eat more slowly and pace herself. Would definitely recommend getting it. It’s not too sturdy tho she started biting at the edges.not quite as deep as I expected, and he pushes it around (I thought it had some sort of suction feet - but it doesnt). It does the job. Because he has dry food, we havent had to clean it yet. It has certainly slowed hi down, he eve3n takes a drink it hte middle of eating now.My dog use to take about 2 min. to eat.....now it takes him 10 to 15 min. Great product. would recommend itThis bowl is very hard to tip which is great for smart pups who try. It has a wide base. There are lots of pop outs to truly make it hard to eat which is great for my fast eater. Highly recommend!Our miniature dachshund vacuums her food down frantically. She is a rescue pup. We needed to slow her down when eating. This did exactly that. She is no longer frantic when she eats now. She takes two or three minutes now whereas before it was about 30 seconds.
