This bowl is part of a larger set, from which I also bought 2 sets of candleholders, and a vase. The bowl with the smaller candleholders are perfect for dressing a 55'' wide, 17" deep mantel. The whole set is gorgeous, but I found the vase rather large for the mantel, so I'll be sending it back. If you have much larger mantel, a vase on one side and a candleholder set on the other might be OK.
