This is a great, resistant to breaking, old fashioned shave bowl. It lathers up shaving soap and cream quickly every time, with the bumps at the bottom of the bowl. Be (warned) it’s a larger bowl size, the pictures make it look smaller. But no worries, even with my small hands, there’s plenty to grab onto near the large handle. Resting my thumb down the center where the brush rest is located, works perfectly for me. I wish I had bought this bowl when I first started traditional wet shaving. Could have saved me some money, and immediately ended my search for a “perfect” shave bowl. I honestly think you would be happy buying this. But as they say, YMMV. ?‍♂️
